Let's head out east for a late season ride from Hampton Bays to Montauk, almost a Montauk half century.  The ride will leave at 9:15 from the Hampton Bays LIRR station parking lot.  Give yourself a few extra minutes to get there given the trade parade heading east.  We have to start a bit earlier than usual to be sure to make our return train.

The ride is around 50 mostly scenic, miles, including the fun rolling hills on Old Montauk Highway with some great views towards the ocean.  Ride will keep a steady pace, but won't overly rush as we want to enjoy the tour out East.  Once we get to Montauk, we take the LIRR back to Hampton Bays. Please be sure to bring money for return ticket and a bungee cord to secure your bike on the train.

Bring some food, snacks and sufficient hydration.  Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore.
