My plan is to ride from Speonk LIRR station out to the Hamptons and take advantage of the forecasted WNW wind.  This is a one-way ride so we will be taking the LIRR back to Speonk (11:54am from East Hampton arrives Speonk at 12:46pm).  Please bring $$ and/or credit card for train ticket.  Optional lunch at Little Gull restaurant at the end (located in the old Speonk LIRR ticket office).

This is a very scenic ride and I try to avoid main/busy roads as much as possible.  Food/hydration/rest stops as needed.  No one gets dropped unless they decide to stop.  This is a great route because anyone can opt out at any point.  You just need to ride to the nearest LIRR station on the Montauk Branch.  The 11:54am from East Hampton makes all local stops back to Speonk.  Download MTA TrainTime app so you have the most up-to-date LIRR train schedule.
