NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

You must bring a mask and read all the info. following my ride description. This ride has several scenic stops, some mileage on Dune Road, and a break at a beautiful pocket in Westhampton Beach, just 30 seconds from the Beach Bakery. Come out and join me for this ride from Bellport to the Smith Point Marina. We will make a bathroom stop at Weirtheim, then a quick stop at 7-11 for any snacks or beverages, then on to the Marina for our break.
This is a C+/B- ride which will average 13.0 - 13.6 (depending on the wind and the riders), we will be observing spacing rules, etc., and there will be cue sheets.

An early evening scenic ride in Setauket and the surrounding area. The ride classification takes into account the rolling hills route, there will be wait ups after climbs and opportunities to 'stretch your legs'. For those interested we often go to Green Cactus after the ride, where there is outdoor dining.

This is a slower version of Roller Coaster 2. It is a scenic, rolling and hilly ride, well worth the effort. Its listed as a 'C+' ride because of the hills and the heat, so plan to average around 12-12.5 mph by the end of the ride. Dinner at the Green Cactus following, if interested. Ride will follow SBRA Covid Guidelines and is limited to 8 riders. You must have a mask with you. If you wish to do this ride, you must text me at 631-455-4251by Wednesday at 4:00 PM with your SBRA ID#, your cell phone # and emergency #, also your full name. I will reply to let you know if there is space available or not for you. Any questions, call my cell. Any changes will be posted by 4:00 pm.
Join me for this early evening 15-20 mile ride around Ronkonkoma and the surrounding areas. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. There should be plenty of daylight, but it is recommended that you wear bright/reflective clothing and have working lights on your bike. Please be prompt getting to the ride start, so we may depart on time. PARK on the North side of the train station East of Main Terminal.
Newbies always welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets dropped. This will be a C pace ride, which will average 11–12 (possibly faster or slower, depending on who is on the ride). We will be observing social distancing, etc., and you must have a face-covering with you. This ride has been known to stop Ice Cream trucks.
