NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

To reserve a spot, text me your name, emergency and cell numbers, SBRA #, and date of ride. Bill G. at 631-356-3036. This ride heads out to Westhampton Beach for a bathroom stop, than off for a ride on Dune Road. We than do some sightseeing in Quogue, than head North to the Quogue Preserve, which also has restrooms. We than take a snack/bathroom break in a lovely pocket park in Westhampton Beach, which is also a 30 second walk from the Beach Bakery. Bathrooms are adjacent to the pocket park. You must have a mask with you, and read the SBRA guidelines below my ride description. Note: If it appears that Eastbound Dune Road is flooded from the Midweek Storm, We will head West for Cupsogue Beach. This is a flat, scenic ride around mastic, exploring some of the lesser known roads (to me!), lots of stops to look ar views. We will be visiting 3 beahes where there are bathrooms.
Come on my C paced ride of 18-22 miles at 10.6-11.6mph depending on riders. Newbies always welcome and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:00am. Park on North side of RR at East end of road. Bring face covering, water and a snack as route will be determined at ride start due to wind, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition.
Fun ride from East Islip to Main Street in Sayville. We'll make a quick restroom stop in Hecksher before heading towards Sayville via the Connetquot bike path. Please bring plenty of water, your face covering and any snacks needed to maintain your energy.
If interested in riding, Please text me with your member ID number, your cell number and emergency contact telephone number. I will respond with confirmation that you're either "signed in" or "I'm sorry, the ride is full", I'll also mark the ride "Full" in the title of the ride. Please text me if for some reason you're unable to join us on the ride.
Time permitting, I'd like to go for an "optional" dinner after the ride to a nearby restaurant with outdoor seating.
