NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This ride is cancelled. Bike needs repairs, won't shift. Wildwood is closed due to no power from the recent storm. We will be going to Bean and Bagel instead. If you want to join this ride, text me your SBRA#, cell and Emergency numbers, day of ride, and your full name. Bill Gravitz 631-356-3036. The ride will include the Grumman Trail, and meandering both North and South of Veterans park. You must have a mask, and have read the SBRA Covid rules found below the ride description. Join me for this ride from Eastport, along Dune Road, to Westhampton. When we get to Westhampton we will take our break at the Bakery.
This is a C+/B- ride, which will average 13.1 - 13.6, depending on the winds, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, by the prevailing winds, so there may not be a cue sheet for this ride.

Come on my C paced ride of 18-22 miles at 10.6-11.6mph depending on riders. Newbies always welcome and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:00am. Park on North side of RR at East end of road. Bring face covering, water and a snack as route will be determined at ride start due to wind, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition.
Join me for this scenic D ride, cruising speed will be 6-10. No one gets dropped.
We will ride around some quiet back roads of Sayville, then head south passing the Mansion at West Sayville and the Long Island Maritime Museum. We'll wind our way to the beach for a snack and bathroom break, While taking in many water views and sea breezes along the way. Please bring water, spare tube, and a snack if you wish.
