NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Off to Briermere's, with a brief viewing stop of the Bison if they are in a field near the road. If you want to share a pie, bring $. We can hopefully link up with Susan's group to have enough riders interested in sharing a pie. Briermere's has enough outdoor space for social distancing, and has restrooms. If you want to join this ride, text me, Bill Gravitz, 631-356-3036, with your SBRA, cell and emergency numbers. I will let you know if you are in the ride, or will text, sorry, ride is full. Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 1.2 - 12.8. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. We will be riding down to Sayville and the adjoining areas for a few "water views." We will then head up to Bohemia for our break at the Gourmet Bagel Co., on Lakeland Ave., where beverages, food, and a bathroom are available.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start to allow enough time to "get yourself" ready.

If there are more than 8 people I will split the ride as long as someone volunteers to lead the 2nd group.
We will be going to Briermere where there are numerous choices of delicious baked goods. If there are enough people to share a day old pie we can do that. There are a few rollers on the first part of the ride but otherwise it is pretty flat.
Come on my C paced ride of 18-22 miles at 10.6-11.6mph depending on riders. Newbies always welcome and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:00am. Park on North side of RR at East end of road. Bring face covering, water and a snack as route will be determined at ride start due to wind, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition.
You must have submitted a digital waver to do this ride.
