NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Off to Wildwood, with a choice of Bean and Bagel, or the deli near the park, for our food choice. 15-20 mile ride around Ronkonkoma and the surrounding areas. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. PARK on the North side of the train station East of Main Terminal.
Newbies always welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets dropped. This will be a C pace ride, which will average 11–12 (possibly faster or slower, depending on who is on the ride). We will be observing social distancing, etc., and you must have a face-covering with you.
Any cancellation will be by 8am. No need to email me.

Starting at Wertheim, a very flat ride, just a few gentle rollers.
We visit several beaches on this ride and explore the prettier parts of Mastic (by the water). We will probably end up with a low B- due to the twists and turn along the shoreline and the admiring of views. I presume there will be bathrooms at Smith's point, bring water and a snack - not sure if there is anywhere to buy anything.
Slow C+/B- level ride. You must have submitted a digital waver to do this ride. No one left behind ride to Bean & Bagel for snacks must have Mask limit 6 riders to a Group will split ride up if more people show up and the second or third group will follow the first group must be a member in good standing no one left behind, we will follow all the club rules on the Covid 19 listed below cell phone 631-484-1650 call for any Questions after 7am or before 7pm please.Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted 2 hours before.
Nice and easy ride to Brightwaters, we can stop in Hecksher for restrooms but there won't be a food stop, so please bring enough drink and something to snack on once we get to the half way point in Brightwaters. Very scenic streets and comfortable pace.
Check back for changes/cancellations prior to 3:00PM the day of the ride.

Join me for this early evening ride from Sayville around the surrounding areas. This will be an easy C+, with a ride average between 12.0 - 12.3 (I promise, Christine). The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. We are leaving promptly at 5:20 to ensure we have enough daylight, but it is recommended that you wear bright/reflective clothing and have working lights on your bike. Please be prompt getting to the ride start, so we may depart on time. Maybe pizza after the ride..
