NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Calverton dries quickly so it's the place to go after a rain.

It will be cold but if you want to avoid the wind chill this winter you'll come into the woods. This will be a relatively short ride. The BDs can be skipped very easily.

A DEC Parking & Access pass is required at Calverton. Easy to obtain from link on SBRA website. 

SBRA insurance requires that Mtn Bike riders MUST sign a Ride Sign In sheet for each Mtn Bike ride.  Please text (631-988-6557)/email [nsamuels@optonline.net] me and include your name. I will email you a copy of the Ride Sign in sheet to sign and bring to the ride UNLESS you do me a favor and print it from here: https://www.sbraweb.org/sites/default/files/Ride_Sign-In_Sheet.pdf

You must have a mask on your person to ride though it's typical to be more than 15 feet a part in the woods.
