NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Kreb Cycle in Eastport is now open and its awesome! Come check it out! We will start this Saturday ride at the shop at 8am. It is an A+ ride, which is a 52 mile loop down Dune road, with one brief stop in Southampton at Ye Olde Bake Shoppe (cash only), then back to Eastport via Red Creek, Pleasure drive, 51. Our average speed has been coming in around 22.5mph.
Off to Nettie's Bakery, with its wonderfull treats, great outdoor places to eat, and indoor rest rooms. To join, text Bill G. with your full name, and ride destination/date. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:15am.
This will be our usual route out to Bean and Bagel depending on the weather. Rain is supposed to come in later in the day but if it looks iffy we will just go to Dunkin Donuts. If it rains i will move this ride to sunday so please check the weather before leaving in the morning.

We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Bellport and returning to East Islip for a 36 mile ride. Our food/restroom break will be around mile 20 in Bellport. The ride will be at a (B - pace) with an average speed of around 15 mphand road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.

This route has a few hills but much of the route is on the north shore bike trail. Max cruising speed 19-21MPH; this is a scenic ride and should be done at a safe and enjoyable pace. Our destination is Druthers Coffee in Stony Brook for a break before returning. Hope you will join me for a fun ride.

Our average speed should come in between 20 and 21mph, and our cruise should be 20 to 24mph--depending on the conditions. We’ll head out to Pleasure Drive, make a brief stop at Briermere Farms, and then head home via Routes 51 and 111. I hope to see you there.
Any cancelation will be posted by 6:30a on the day of the ride.

Join me for this mid-morning ride from Sayville. This will be an easy C pace ride, which will average 11.0 - 11.5. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. We will take a break and there will be a bathroom stop along the way.
