We should come in on the higher end of B+/A-, with an overall average around 19mph, and max speeds of 21-22mph depending on the group, winds and hills. This will be a slightly top-heavy ride which our break at Nettie's at mile 44.
We will head out and have our food stop at McDonalds in Center Moriches. From there we will touch on Manorville and do some small rollers. We will make a bathroom stop at South Haven Park.

This will be a C ride, which will average 11.5 - 12.0, partly depending on the winds, the riders, etc. Since the exact route will be determined at the start, so there willnot be a cue sheet for this ride. We will ride part of Dune Road (direction determined by the winds that day) and then take our break in Westhampton at the Beach Bakery, where bathrooms and food are available.
This ride is for Darlene's Birthday, so at the end of the ride we may go somewhere for a quick bite to eat {at personal expense}.

We will stop at Werteim (mile 9), for bathrooms before going to Smithpoint (mile 14) for a quick break, then Netties, (mile 26) for a snack. You will not go hungry on this ride! We will probably come in at a mid B- depending on the wind and heat. Bring plenty of water.
Since it is a weekend I appreciate knowing who is joining me - max 12 - so please text 631 331 5642.
Today's’ route to Great River will change up a bit towards the end of the ride - if the wind is in our favor; making this route pretty flat except for 2 overpasses. We will go the usual route heading south using the Connetquot Park bike bath. We’ll work our way down to Heckscher Park, do a loop where one can stretch the legs a bit if desired. Taking turns pulling would be appreciated! I would like to keep the road speed between 15 & 16 mph and come in at an average between 14.5 and 15.0
Please DO NOT PARK in the Meat Farms parking lot. Use the west side of the bank if the east side is full. Thanks!
We’ll be making a rest stop around mile 19 at the deli/bakery. The route back will be determined by the wind direction. If you want to bring stuff for after the ride please do. Weather permitting!
Join me for this scenic C- ride, cruising speed will be 10-11, slower in the mews. No one gets dropped.
We will ride around the scenic roads of Oakdale, a unique community steeped in Vanderbilt History.Shortly after crossing a wooden footbridge, we'll be taking our break on the riverside steps of Idle Hour, the former William K. Vanderbilt Estate. Unfortunately, it is the now defunct Dowling College and falling into disrepair. Continuing with the theme of Vanderbilt history we will be heading into the mews, also once part of the Vanderbilt Estate. The mews is such a fascinating pocket of History & Architecture that we will be sure to ride each and every road. Please bring water, spare tube, and a snack if you wish, to enjoy riverside.
****This ride is totally residential, there is no bathroom stop****
