NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon.  There will be a quick break at the Docks.  This is a B- ride that will average around 14.5 - 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.

This will be an easy C+ ride around Center Moriches, that will average 12 - 12.6, and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.

The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride you must text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that. 

MEETING LOCATION: straight back from Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, on the EAST SIDE of the shopping center.    

Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

Bummer...park closes at sunset....Lets ride the Jones Beach Bike path and View the Christmas light show from the bike path. This is NOT A RACE but a Fun Social gathering to put ourselves into the holiday Spirit. We will leave the parking lot of the Jones Beach Boat Basin at 6pm sharp. LETS DRESS WARM! Should be around 32 miles in total. Bring your Phone to take Pictures. Weather looks to be in the 40's and west wind of about 5mph.

Front and Back Lights are Required for this ride!

This is a must Sign up by Friday 12pm noon. 

After Ride we can Grab a Slice of Pizza and Warm UP
