NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

CANCELED because "real feel" of 23-28 degrees with 16 mile gusts is just too cold, even for me!

CHANGE: now a Bellport ride

Join me for this C ride, which will average 11.2 - 11.7; no one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Ride route will be determined by the road conditions; decision to be made the morning of the ride; no cue sheets. We will either head to Blue Point or to the Smith Point Marina for our break; there will be a bathroom stop.

Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

It will be cold even w/o the wind Sealed ... We'll adjust the route depending who shows (but I'd really like to do the Advanced west section on the East side of Belle Meade) ... the cold may shorten the ride and we might skip doing Groundhog Hill.

Text me at 631-988-6557 if you plan to ride with me and I will wait at the start if you're running late OTHERWISE if I don't hear from anyone, we may start early due to the chill.
