Lets do the early Bird north route on Sunday. I know it well but will bring maps.The full ride is 54 miles but that is a lot in this kind of weather.I suggest we cut out the Cutchogue extension but do ride Penny Lane.The meet up in Mattituck where Rt 48 starts will be important because it is the potential turn around and we will be off the cue for a short distance, the map has this info on it.I hope there will be some stronger guys who know the route so they can go ahead, I am planning on Bt for myself.The only other glich is that the rest stops out there are minimal if our group is big...a bagel place and a deli, so just in case, stock up...I love my coffeee so maybe we can figure it out.The mileage should 40ish but with my luck lately....well enough said.I will have the computer on to watch for bad weather and would make a final decision early enough for everyone to have not left yet should it need to be cancelled. Dont be put off by this ride, the roads are flat except for Penny lane and even that is rolling.
