Details (RL read field instructions carefully):
If you live on the North Shore you can drive 50 miles to do a 30 mile ride or you can sleep for an extra hour and ride your bike to the start of this ride. The ride covers the most beautiful parts of the island. We will ride through Stony Brook, Old Field, Setauket, Port Jeff, Mt. Sinai, Shoreham and others to Wading River. There are flat stretches and some hills (no mountains). Appropriate and traditional wait ups after the hills help keep the group together.
If you are a strong B and want to move up this ride is for you. Alternatively, Stronger riders willing to help with pulls will get a workout, but will still be able to mow the lawn in the afternoon.
This will be the last time for a while that we do this longer version of the ride.
