    This ride will be on Saturday dependant on how late the rain continues on Friday ... Check back to this posting before leaving for the ride as Life Happens and Things Change.

    Calverton is one of the best begineer trails on Long Island, even the Black Diamonds (BD) are only Intermediate level. As a begineer there's only one BD that I might lead you down if you are so inclinded (it's really a decline ;-). If no Beginneers show than this will be an Intermediate ride.

    This venue requires a DEC parking permit (haven't seen anyone being checked for a long time though). Easy to obtain a permit here: https://www.sbraweb.org/node/6490

    If you don't have a permit you can park ~ 1/2 mile away at the Veterans Memorial Park and ride over.

    Text me at 631-988-6557 if you plan to ride with me and I will wait at the start if you're running late.
