We'll recreate Columbus's famous last voyage to Shelter Island. Rumor has it he was actually looking for the Hamptons. Shelter Island should be near peak fall foliage this weekend.

Heading out from Mattituck RR along the BBB route to New Suffolk, then up along Sound Ave and SoundView to Greenport, then by ferry to Shelter Island.

Shelter Island has a few climbs and some rolling hills. It ain't flat.

Deli lunch on Shelter Island at Wade's beach.

Ride pace will be a slow B, or a fast B-, depending on your perspective, somewhere between 14-15 mph.

The ferry round-trip fare is $5.

Any ride changes will be posted before 7am on the day of the ride.
