With alot of us going into the woods with the weather
turning colder I wanted to stress that one should have
a cell phone along with them in case of an emergency.
It has been brought to my attention that a very
experienced athlete from our area suffered a fatal
heart attack last week while out on the trails this past
weekend.There apparently were three people in the
riding party and no one had a cell phone with them.
A very sad event to have happened so close to the
holidays.So in hindsight always have a cell phone with
you and withsomeone else in your party and when
riding alone please be sure to advise someone where
you areand arrange a time tocall that person to say
that everything is A okay. Stay safe this holiday season.
