NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This is a little break from the usual route, but a few extra miles, and a break at Briermere Farms. Short pulls keep the group together and moving along at a comfortable A pace. Looks like good weather, hope you can join for a fun ride. Please download the route posted below.

Join me for this C ride that will average 11.6 - 12.0. We will be riding from the Timber Point Golf Course in East Islip to Islip, and doing a few loops with some nice sights and water views.  We will take a break at one of the beaches along the way, where there is a bathroom and concession stand.

No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. The exact route will be determined the morning of the ride (thus, no cue sheets). 

After entering the golf course, park in the FIRST lot on your RIGHT.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride, text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
