Last slow hills of the season.

The usual ride with a rest stop (bring your snack) at the Old Field lighthouse. There is no bathroom stop on this ride

Same route as last week but extended to Cedar Beach for the extra 5 miles. No worries! We keep the group together and plenty of short stops. The good riding weather is here, this is the time to do hills, hope you'll join me.

A word on the ride start. I thought of changing it to an easier to get to location; but in the end I thought it better to drive a little further and avoid riding on more congested roads. Leave exta time for traffic and lights. Note the later ride start.

This ride will be on the Grumman Trail, and mostly local streets in Calverton and Manorville. The parking lot has porta potties, real restrooms at Bean and Bagel, midway on the ride.  To join the ride, text Bill G at 631-356-3036 with your SBRA# and emergency number.  Check the ride calendar for changes, which would be posted, day of ride, by 07:30am.  

Scenic views of the water in Smithtown, Setauket and Old Field.  We'll cruise at a B-/B on the flats and be patient on the hills - no one will be dropped. Water and restrooms but no no food stops so bring snacks.  Join us for arguably one of the best slices on Long Island (cash only) after the ride.  Park in the rear of the lot across from Little Vincent's.
