There's a path around the area of the prior Grumman Calverton site. This path is currently about 1/4 paved. When totally paved it would provide a car free loop of ~8 miles and would be a great way to terminate the "LIPA" line path that will someday run from Port Jefferson Station to Wading River. There will be a meeting on use of the Calverton property this Friday at the Riverhead Town hall 10 to noon. If more information about this meeting becomes available it will be addended to this posting.
