Folks,

You may already have read about the unfortunate death of the CLIMB member, Ross Hanson. Ross was a very active and well liked rider; he rode the woods with a number of SBRA members when we were doing the Wednesday night rides. CLIMB is having a memorial event for Ross this coming weekend. The following is from an email alert I received a few days ago:

"RIDE FOR ROSS SEPTEMBER 20

We will be riding a trail Ross really loved and riding it the way he preferred but there will be easier versions for those who cannot endure.
Meeting at 10am at Manorville Hills County Park.

Three loops from Terrapin Rock or one if you prefer or just ride out to Terrapin Rock for a brief ceremony then ride back to the parking lot for the easy version.

Post ride we will meet at Hoptron Brewtique in Patchougue starts between 2-3pm till ?
22 W Main St #11, Patchogue, NY 11772

Please bring any pictures you have to pin up on a board as we celebrate the life of Ross Hansen.."
