All cyclists in New York should read the "Two By Two" article in the May issue of Bicycle magazine. The article covers How and When to Ride Side by Side Legally ... the article indicates New York State's specific ruling regarding overtaking vehicular traffic. PLEASE keep in mind, regardless of the the NYS allowances for riding Two By Two, ... if the Ride Leader of your SBRA ride asks you to ride in a single file ... he/she is the one who volunteered to lead the ride and they're the folks that are trying to keep it safe for everyone.
