48-Hour Run for Friends of Karen
Support Energy Fitness member Byron Lane as he helps Friends of Karen, an organization that provides emotional, financial, and advocacy support for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families in order to keep them stable, functioning, and able to cope, at no cost.
Byron will run and walk from Friday, November 10, at 9 a.m., through Sunday, November 12 at 9 a.m., trying to cover as much distance as he can. In the process, he hopes to take back the American record, currently at 167 miles. Byron has enlisted the help of more than 60 local athletes who will run alongside him in two hour shifts for the duration of the run. This fundraising event will take place at Energy Fitness in St. James and will include dozens of raffles and contests.
