Hello all, I just became a member and I’m pretty excited about it. I started getting into road biking last year and bought a Specialized (basic model) bike. I live in Selden but would drive to my friend’s house in Saint James because we really enjoyed the rolling hills and scenery of the North Shore. To date, my longest ride has only been about 40 miles which was something I was really proud of doing.

Anyway, without going into a complete rant, I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My friend, who I have been riding with has a very different schedule than I do so it’s hard to get together with him often. I don’t know anyone else who bikes, so I’m excited to have this tool which enables me to meet and hopefully join up with people who share the same love for biking!
