One of the roads that we've used many times while riding through East Seatuket to Stony Brook has so many pothole patches that it's become truly NO fun to ride. We've used Lower Sheep Pasture for many years, either uphill or down, it was always a challenge ... now it's just plain sad. Rather then bump along on that road ... try cutting off it and using UPPER Sheep Pasture Road (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4665539) ... a little less grade (and two STOP signs) but MUCH better riding.
