    Tour de France - 50 years ago

    This is a movie in two parts about the 1962 Tour de France. Part one is of the lighter side with the crowds and the caravan and dealing with the heat and hydration. Part two features the more serious side with the suffering and crashes.

    You will notice that the riders are wearing wool jerseys and no helmets and the Tour finishes in a stadium.
