As Rocky Point Trails are about to open on April 1st, all those wishing to ride there or on any NYS managed land (Eastport, etc.) should check their DEC permit expiration date. I just noticed mine expires on April 23rd. They are free and good for 3 years but if you park &/or ride w/o one you could receive a heavy fine. I plan to post rides at Rocky Point in April, not sure how long they will take at this time of year to get the permits back to us. I also notice I am missing one of my 2 copies so hope one will be enough protection for now!
