I cannot do the Montauk Century this weekend (Sat 5/18) because I will be in California for Climate Ride. If anyone is interested in riding the Century but did not make the original registration deadline, please contact me at . My registration is WITH a LIRR ticket. Thank you!
Ashley
Here are the rules for the exchange as per Pete:
If you cannot ride you can attempt to sell your registration to a present member in good standing.
You MUST FOLLOW ALL OF THE RULES below:
If you find someone interested in purchasing your registration it cannot be sold for more than you purchased it for. If it was for no train ticket it has to remain that way the person cannot add on an train ticket.
You must send an email to the following address:
The email must contain your name and the SBRA members name that is purchasing your registration. Both of you will receive either a confirmation email back or a rejection. The only reasons for a rejection would be the person is not a current member in good standing, the registration did not include a train ticket and the new person wants one, or I find out that the transaction was for more than the amount you spent on it.
I must receive the E-mail no later than 12 PM Thursday, May 16th. If I cannot find the person on our current roster I will reject the transfer.
The member that is purchasing the registration must show up the day of registration with a signed wavier otherwise they will not be allowed to ride the century, and if a train ticket is involved they will not be issued one nor will their bike be put on the truck to be returned to Babylon.
All the above conditions must be meet, there will be no exceptions!
Thank you,
Peter Olivieri
